i loved how this hotel is less than 7 km from beautiful dinosaur park, making it easy to enjoy a fun day outdoors. The breakfast had plenty of fresh options that fueled my mornings before exploring rapid city.

The fridge was full from previous guests.

Breakfast options were fantastic! ! Always fresh, warm, and well stocked. The room was spacious and comfortable for three adults, creating a great environment for a family stay.

Housekeeping was inconsistent, with some missed cleanings causing frustration. Noise from slamming doors detracted from the overall comfort during our stay.

The location of the hotel helped us easily access the Black Hills attractions. Our room had a clean vibe and plenty of space to move around. The hot tub offered relaxation after long days of hiking, and the staff was friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast choices, while basic, did include fresh fruit and decent coffee. However, housekeeping missed cleaning our room twice, leaving us with overflowing trash cans. The excuses from the front desk felt inadequate, which was disappointing. It took too long to get new towels after requesting them. The pool was overcrowded, making it hard to enjoy. Despite these issues, the room comfort and overall cleanliness made the stay bearable.

However, I was disappointed that the hot tub was out of service during our visit, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was good. Clean, spacious rooms paired with a varied breakfast made each morning enjoyable. The only hiccup was a slight delay during check-in. A comfortable experience that allowed me to recharge after exploring the city.

The hotel was a perfect base for our family adventures in Rapid City. The breakfast selection was impressive and kept everyone fueled for our day exploring the nearby attractions, which suited our teenage children's tastes very well.

My wife says that dining options nearby were quite limited.
